Braided Pesto Bread


  • Parmesan cheese grated – 20 g
  • Milk – 160 ml
  • Dry yeast – 7 g
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Flour – 300 g
  • Olive oil – 30 ml
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Basil – bunch
  • Garlic – 1/2 clove
  • Pine nuts – 20 g

How to cook:

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, yeast and mix everything. Leave for 3-5 minutes for the yeast to dissolve.

  2. Pour in the olive oil, salt and flour. Knead the dough (you can use your hands, you can use a food processor using a hook attachment).

  3. Do not add more flour than it is written in the recipe. At first, the dough will stick to your hands, but gradually it will become smooth. Cover the dough with a towel and leave for an hour in a warm place.
